Our Story
Maison Privée Agency began with an unexpected friendship formed far from home.
We met Carol Ann while on vacation in Jamaica, and something about her warmth and spirit moved us to invite her to the United States to join our family. She arrived when my children were 2, 4, and 5 years old. She did not just care for them. She became woven into the fabric of our lives in a way I never expected and have never forgotten. Carol Ann was the kind of presence that made our household run with grace, love, and a steadiness that allowed all of us to flourish. Today, all three of my children are grown and doing beautifully. Carol Ann runs her own successful placement agency, and our ongoing conversations about this work helped shape everything MPA is built on.
That experience of being changed by the right person arriving at the right moment has informed everything I have done since.
My career began at Bergdorf Goodman and in luxury publishing, with Condé Nast titles including Vogue and Brides, as well as Elle at Hachette. Those years gave me a deep understanding of what exceptional service truly feels like and what it means to earn the trust of clients who hold both people and experiences to the highest standard. More than a decade in luxury real estate across Fairfield and Litchfield Counties brought me into the homes and lives of the very families MPA now serves.
MPA is the convergence of all of it. A career built around luxury and trust. A personal understanding of what it means to welcome someone into your home and rely on them completely. And a deep friendship that reminded me how life-changing the right placement can be.
